This is a small part of Vancouver House, a very cool twisted piece of architecture under the Granville Street bridge. I hope to get a good shot of the entire building one day.

The photograph was taken in The Woodlands, Texas with an AstriHori 10mm lens on a Sony a6600 camera. It centers on a tall glass tower rising cleanly above the surrounding structures, its facade reduced to a grid of reflections and muted sky tones. Nearby buildings echo the same vocabulary of steel and glass, creating a compressed field of verticals and repeating surfaces. The overcast light softens the scene, allowing the architecture’s lines and proportions to take precedence over atmosphere. In the foreground, the roadway and barriers introduce a grounded horizontal counterpoint, anchoring the composition. The result is a quiet study in modern urban geometry and controlled spatial tension.
For this weeks Macro Mondays theme 'Geometry Shapes' - a detail of a lace creation made by my mum - it's actually the eye of a bird she made a few years ago. I liked how many different shapes made up the whole.
