I need to check the size rules again on stations. This mainly evolved to match the technical feel my builds were taking on.
The armature is offset inside the track (outside circles). The black boxes are weights. As the weights move around the track in a clockwise fashion, the spokes shift through the armature's axel allowing the right-side spokes to gain length while the left side spokes shorten. This should create a weight difference between the left and right side causing the wheel to spin on it's own.
Layout the diodes and test the AC signal is converted to DC - very easy to see as the LED will always be on when you shake the dynamo rather than intermittent
