Shot taken at Ancient Shiv mandir in Ambernath. Over 1200 years old. Built of interlocking black stone in the "hemadpanti" style. Covered with exqusite carvings. Has a "swayambhu" Shiv Ling. Some carvings are now falling off due to poor maintenance and neglect. The temple is the focus of a huge fair during Mahashivratri.
