After the mishap, the contractors back up the excavator past the semi trailer to turn it around.

From the FTC 1943:

"Atmoray, Inc., and Atmozone, Inc., Portland, Oreg.--Engaged in the manufacture and sale of a medical device known as “Atmoray,” an ozone generator intended for use in the treatment of various ailments and diseases of the body, the respondents were ordered to cease and desist from representing that the device, or the quantity of ozone produced by it, is an effective oxidizing, germicidal or disinfecting agent, or possesses any therapeutic value in the treatment of head colds, tuberculosis, arthritis or other diseases or disorders of the body. The order further directed the respondents to cease disseminating advertisements which fail to reveal, among other things, that the safety of the device depends upon its oxygen output, the size and ventilation of the room in which it is used, and the length of time it is operated, and that the inhalation of an excessive amount of oxygen may irritate the respiratory organs (4630)."

This is a portable power genarator that came with a diecast construction set I found at CVS Pharmacy. Although most of the pieces in the set were approximately 1:64, this generator seemed a little bigger proportions than it should have been. So, it's probably around 1:50 scale or so.

There was no manufacturer's name on the box, other than some holding company, but I'm certain it was made by same company who made the Bomb Squad truck I just uploaded. The wheels were the same and there were some vehicles in the construction set that were the exact same vehicles in a another little $2 construction playset I found out the Dollar General Store, which was made by "Express Wheels."

No matter who makes them, this little portable generator features a hitch on it so that it can be pulled with the vehicles in the construction set. Several of them had a hitch on the back for just such purpose.

Side view of generators -- giver of life. You have my permission to dismiss and disdain forever any American official who downplays the importance of electricity to Iraq now -- to politics, the war, everything.

Generator has 25,487 hours on it.

This radar station was part of the "Home chain low" radar station (not sure what that means) and is sited on top of Graig Fawr behind Margam Castle to guard against enemy surface craft & submarines in the British channel. The site consists of 3 sub-square concrete buildings with flat roofs. One with a framework of a steel gantry which was a base for a rectangular radar transmitter/receiver.

The other 2 buildings were used to house generators. The Station was believed to be an Army base dated 1941-3 before being taken over by the RAF.

Our generator!

Thanks to it I can use my computer, watch tv, charge my phone and most importantly - have A/C.

The earthquakes have generated some great street art in Christchurch.

The Science Museum of Minnesota has a wave generator. You can adjust the frequency and amplitude of the oscillator that generates the waves. You can also tinker with the "seafloor" profile. I found that a large amplitude, low frequency oscillation, combined with a gradual decrease in "sea" depth led to the biggest and most clearly defined waves.
