One of the best items on the menu! Garlicky and cheese on a nice bread base.
D.O.C was packed at 6:30pm on a Saturday, with a long queue to boot, so it was back to my favourite pizza haunt on Lygon St, Papa Gino's. Good pizzas on a crisp base, and not too much topping so that the pizza is soggy and limp.
Judging from the 16-deep queue outside, I'd say that they were still good :)

Homemade bread (griddle biscuits) with mozzarella and minced, sauteed garlic inside, and some marinara to dunk the bread into.
Lit with a single strobe, hand held as far as I can reach about 1/32nd power and fired with a cactus v4 trigger.
we made Cheat's Pappardelle with Slow-Braised Leeks and Crispy Porcini Pangrattato, but we're not cheats: pasta from scratch for us.

This was actually leftover from a larger dish made back in the winter. I froze a small casserole dish of this and decided to finally pull it out. Was quite tasty. I didn't follow any recipe to make this besides using the meat sauce recipe that my mom has made forever. I layered sauce, pasta, goat cheese, sauce and then repeat. Topped it off with shredded mozzarella cheese and baked in the oven. Pretty damn tasty!

I really wish I had taken another one as it is pretty rare for me to have garlic bread in this day and age. Also, garlic bread as a food just doesn't seem very popular anymore.

The new recipe of the week, Hayden found Apple Stuffed Chicken breasts and we had all the ingredients so he helped make it. It was pretty easy to make and he liked having to pound the chicken breasts flat. Our sides were garlic bread, cheese tortellini and sauteed peppers, onions and mushrooms. Hayden gave it a 7 out of 10 and Kevin said it was a keeper, me I just took their word for it.
