55 English teachers in the city of Vinnytsia gathered for a workshop on ‘Gamification in the Language Classroom’ led by English Language Fellow Thaddeus McCleary at the Window on America in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. An explanation of ‘gamification’ and its use in education settings was paired with a discussion about the importance of enjoyment in language learning in classroom settings.
