Console entièrement sculptée. Peinture à la bombe "gris chaud" & brossé. Ensuite, un Lavis de noir pour faire ressortir le relief. Bouclier en résine et peint à la main, lierre découpé dans du carton : peinture acrylique et aux poscas, vernis et enduit d'un côté de colle vinylique pour l'élasticité. Nouveau lens avec protection.

Durée du projet : Deux semaines et demie.

I've been working on this awhile and I finally finished today. This is probably the least well made/realistic Lego console I've made recently, but I still think it turned out well, just wish I could've squeezed in a couple more details. Also I forgot to order a 1x3 black tile so the 1x2 black tile in the d-pad isn't attached. Bley is the closest to platinum IMO.

My absolute favourite piece of Nintendo hardware. I just love the diminutive size and the retro paintjob.

The "Gameboy Music Club" (AT) showed that technology doesn't always have to be used the way its investors and producers intended - the musicians played a concert on commercially available Gameboys.

A limited edition 'triforce' GameBoy Advance autographed by Shigeru Miyamoto - quite possibly the greatest video game designer of all time. With creations like Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros, and the Legend of Zelda under his belt his autograph on a limited edition GBA fetched a pretty penny. Only 30 were available at the Nintendo store in NYC (where this picture was taken) and they were all sold out. Not that I would've bought one, but it sure was neat to see...

The asking price? $400 smackers
