I'm very conflicted about this moc. On the one hand it turned out pretty well shape wise, and the shoulder buttons look great. On the other hand the d-pad is to large there are no start or select buttons and the blue bit in front of the shoulder buttons curves the wrong way. I will probably try to update this model in the future, but I don't know. I think this is the best picture. :)

Someone found my GameBoy.

And it still works!

This started as an oversized Gameboy cartridge, but quickly transformed into this anthropomorphic figure you see before you. I think it looks pretty good especially that mustache!

Also that is a pokeball cane Mr. Gameboy is sporting. ;)

My grandsons playing chess. The set and board were Sebbie's eighth birthday present from me. It's what he asked for!

Built this today in about two hours or so and I have to say this was a really fun build filled with SNOT. This MOC is by no means perfect and I'm not a 100% satisfied with the screen area. The problems in this moc are no ports, dials, or switches on the side, no cartridge slot, and the screen area. I will fix most of these once I get the pieces I need. www.youtube.com/user/5793productions

Celebrate Game Boy's 30th Anniversary

having seen a number of lego gameboy originals and colours i decided to build a gameboy advance sp. it has an eject button for the cartridge, volume and on/off buttons and a screen showing a 8bit version of mario. any comments to improve this would be appreciated

Game Boy clásica personalizada por mi en Agosto de 2006.

I am very satisfied with how this turned out, because I managed to include a lot of details including the batteries. I'm also happy that I didn't have to rely on the tube in tube technique for this creation. This creation can't fit in a cartridge all the way, but the cartridge slot is the proper width. Thanks to Nick Brick for suggesting how I should do the headphone jack.

Decals just no. So this is my final version of my lego gbc and I included as much extra detail as I could muster. Sadly, there is no sound dial or cartridge slot. =(

Also, IT'S SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gameboy del 89'... con TETRIS!

I've been working on this awhile and I finally finished today. This is probably the least well made/realistic Lego console I've made recently, but I still think it turned out well, just wish I could've squeezed in a couple more details. Also I forgot to order a 1x3 black tile so the 1x2 black tile in the d-pad isn't attached. Bley is the closest to platinum IMO.

Thanks to my friend Max who let me borrow his Gameboy Pocket!

I finally managed to get a Gameboy Micro, so naturally I built it out of Legos. I did not realize how ridiculously tiny the Gameboy Micro is, so it proved to be quite a challenging build. I still managed to build this in a day, and there was a lot of give and take in terms of what details I could include. I managed to incorporate the headphone jack, a slight curve, and the black part being slightly raised over some of the bley frame. I could've used 1x8 tiles instead of the inverted brackets, but I would've lost the subtle curve (also they would've been held in only by gravity and friction).

The finishing of this creation means that I have created every Gameboy model out of Legos!!! Don't pull any of that Gameboy Light (same as a Gameboy Pocket, except it has a backlight and a different battery cover, plus it was released exclusively in Japan) or GBA SP AGS101 (Same as a normal SP except it has a backlight) nonsense on me. As far as I'm concerned I have finished the entire Gameboy line out of Legos. I will be taking a picture of all of them together as soon as I repair a few of them.
