I look great lol, kind of like a gost. The GameBoy Camera always brings out the best photos! TOTALLY RETRO!
Decals just no. So this is my final version of my lego gbc and I included as much extra detail as I could muster. Sadly, there is no sound dial or cartridge slot. =(
Also, IT'S SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the most amazing selfie ever! Who needs a 20MP camera when you can take amazing photos like this on the Gameboy Camera?
playing tom & jerry, i quite liked how the main focus was on the bright game boy color, so I'm quite happy with the silhouette style lighting of this
Two tone "Blue and gold" Pokemon Gameboy Color Limited edition. I'm not a huge Pokemon fan but its just so shiny and cheerful. It cleaned up so well! Looks almost new!

I Made the whole thing by myself. All the ratios are equal to the original one.
As you can see the lower right corner also has an arch, and there is a "hole" where the monitor was.
probably it will have *something* inside it ;)
This game was released elsewhere as Mole Mania, by the way. Regardless of what it's called, though, it's a great little GB game. For more info on, and more photos of, it, check out this recent blog post of mine: www.thegaygamer.com/2014/06/lets-chat-about-and-check-out...

This was Enix's first GameBoy game. Unfortunately, it only saw the light of day in Japan. More info on this part-RPG, part-board game can be found here: www.thegaygamer.com/2014/07/what-can-i-say-ive-always-bee...
My absolute favourite piece of Nintendo hardware. I just love the diminutive size and the retro paintjob.
Finalised Controls section.
Here we have the ability to map your keyboard or gamepad (maybe some other device :)) to control some GameBoy games.
Finalised the tab bar icons which can be found isolated ina shot elsewhere in this Flickr set.
Special thanks goes to Edward Sanchez who provided the original Gameboy illustration (with all its nice vectors snapped to a 1px gridline :)). I edited it slightly, resized it so it would fit in with the background and global lighting I'm using. Check out Edward here: edwardsanchez.me/
Next up is finishing off some of the other sections. Then over the next few weeks or so I'll need to produce a few different controllers for the section you see above... a fair few hours of work ahead of me. I think I'll do a NES controller first. Hobby projects are fun though!
I've been working on this awhile and I finally finished today. This is probably the least well made/realistic Lego console I've made recently, but I still think it turned out well, just wish I could've squeezed in a couple more details. Also I forgot to order a 1x3 black tile so the 1x2 black tile in the d-pad isn't attached. Bley is the closest to platinum IMO.
Thanks to my friend Max who let me borrow his Gameboy Pocket!
