The GameBoy was released when I was four years old. As with most technologically inclined children of the time, I needed one, and became a devotee of Mario platformers on this console.

This is a recent replacemnt for my GameBoy, which has lost verious components and is no longer usable.

Strobist: All were shot with a strobe at 11 o'clock, using a paper snoot to direct it, and one or two reflectors behind the camera.

Part of a series of photos of the growing camera collection.

Cameras were shot sitting on a curved piece of card forming a small infinity curve in a lightbox. Lighting was ambient (tungsten) with bounced on camera flash.

White balance was set manually although as it got darker through the afternoon the orange cast of the tungsten lights started to show through more. I need to work on that.

This is my balding friend Tannor. Just kidding he isn't balding he just shaved his head for Halloween. Super last minute picture but it turned out alright with some editing. He loves his phone and gameboy, so this is what came of the picture :)

Kid is sitting in the 4th row, blueline, at the Thrasher's game and is playing Gameboy. At least he looks when the crowd yells. His brother was doing the same.
