There was a huge number of variations on the type of cosplay costumes that were worn by enthusiasts at the MCM London Comic Con which took place at ExCel, 28 May, 2016 in London, England
Tens of thousands of fans flocked to the ExCel Centre, where there was an overwhelming Star Wars theme. They were joined by other die-hard fans dressed up as everything from anime characters to Game Boy gaming consoles.
More than 130,000 fans are expected to walk through the doors of the ExCel Centre in East London by the end of the three-day event which finishes on Sunday.

What started out as a spelling mistake, turned into the final name for this little thing. It's an Atari Punk Console, with added control. Apart from the shape and frequency knobs, there's an LDR for light control and four screws for body contact.
My two younger boys like to have sleep-overs with eachother at times, here they are playing gameboy, as they sometimes do when they join up for a shared sleep.
I succumbed this summer and got the boys a gameboy advance each in a sale. Love the look of concentration on my eldest's face as he plays (Lego Racers 2) and his sheer delight when he "wins".
Youngest struggles a little tbh (he has a Dora Explorer game) but it was that or he would bother his brother continually for a go. He tends to get distracted by the telly.
I've also discovered that it's a really good way of getting downstairs tidy before dinner - dangle the carrot of gameboy time if they clear up the living room first...
