I haven't played FGR for just over a week but I couldn't resist this challenge! This is dedicated to my husband who hates any sunhat I buy and refuses to be seen with me in one. This is a bit of a hideous one though, and it has never seen the light of day...until today. The sunnies were bought 'specially for today - I've never experimented with sunglasses before as I need prescription ones, but inspired by a fellow fugger (dCapFoto) I went out and bought me some bug retrotastic ones from the market, along with some other props which will feature in future shots. I'm sure my husband wouldn't approve of these either!

I adjusted this in PS to get it less orange, then applied a 60s effect in picnik which oranged it right up again, but I rather like it!

I also took some more photos of the Selfridges building while in town, this time with my nifty fifty, which will be along as soon as I get time to edit them. I'm off to do my dinner now as E is finally in bed, then I'll be back to catch up on everyone's photos!

I drove all the way to the front of the building today, removing cheap wood paneling and 1970's era butterfly wallpaper. I started stripping up the moldy carpet, and carrying it all to the dumpster outside. Once the sun went down a couple of models showed up for a quick celebration.

For FGR - not for the final time after all (hurrah!) - and Goodbye My Love.

I had to bring out the stripy tights and tutu as Jimsy Jampots and the rest of the UKFuggers wanted us to put some FGR themes into our shots. (I did have bunches too but due to a lack of hair washing today they had to go. I also tried jumping but that didn't work out either!)

It's also my final shot of my photo a day 2008 project. Thank you to everyone who has view/commented/faved my shots, inspired me with their wonderful photos and made this a very educational and enjoyable year. When I bought my DSLR at the start of the year I never imagined how much my interest in photography would take off and how many wonderful contacts I would make on flickr. I'm very sad that FGR is ending - before it I didn't really do SPs - and it has taken me in directions I never would have gone otherwise. I hope that the Rogues will become as fun and inspirational as FGR was. Also thanks to everyone at HPAD - you have been fabulous and I look forward to continuing on with you next year.

Haha, I've been wanting to do this one for awhile, and I finally got my excuse. I had fun doing this one .. except I really did end up making a huuge mess. Whatevs.

I love milk, a lot. I drink like 1-3 cups a day usually (including coffees.) In nutrition we had to make do a journaling of our diet for a week, and I was wayy over my calcium minimum with all my milk drinking and lattes.

I stayed home sick from work today. I feel a bit of a head cold and I'm physically and mentally exhausted. Of course, then I spent the entire day online working anyways. At least I got to spend the day in my PJs.

This is me trapped in my world of bokeh - LOL! Mondays aren't actually too manic here as it's not one of the days I work and I don't tend to plan anything more taxing than the usual amble to the shops and park. I went with the challenge though and went for some Manic Monday poses, although they're probably too small to see what they are. This has the benefit of hiding my shocking use of the magnetic lasso in PS. If anyone has any tips on using this well, please pass them on!

I'm late posting this as I was out last night and it took a bit of time with Photoshop so I had to finish it today. I couldn't miss a sock group now could I?!!

This is a small selection of my collection of stripy socks/tights. Even my 21 month old daughter joined in and did her own shoot which I have posted F&F. (She is building up her own collection) We really enjoyed this one!

I also popped my jumping cherry for this!

For FGR and Asymmetrical symmetry.

I'd been thinking of picking a symmetry based group for my day but Tabrel beat me to it. Mind you, this asymmetry lark is a lot harder than symmetry for this sort of thing! It's not perfect by a long shot but it'll have to do - my PS skills are in their early stages and I'm too tired to do any more!

My idea was around personality/good and evil - not sure if it comes across successfully! I did do a version with a halo and horns but preferred this one.
