For FGR challenge, what's your passion?

I have two passions:

Lucha libre! Or wrestling what ever you like it. Although lucha libre came to Mexico from the U.S. 75 years ago, these days mexican wrestling has things that makes it unique and different from japanese or american wrestling: The masks, the luchadores, movies, the type of wrestling and specially (and what i like about it) all the things that you can see in a lucha arena, the people messing with the luchadores, the place, the food and more stuff.

The other thing is photography (duh! :p ), it's kind of new 'cause i started to like it when i was a freshman in university, had a lot of free time back then, so i dedicated part of that free time taking pictures with a Fuji Fine Pix 1300 . I started to get deeper in to photography and like it even more when a friend said to me that he really liked the pictures i took 'cause they transmit something to him. Pure motivation to try to do things better every time.

For FGR: In the Car

I had one of *those* days where everything just went downhill as the day went on. The final straw was the bus ride home. I take the bus to work most days. There are the GOOD bus days and BAD bus days. I generally don't mind it most days but today was extra depressing. There was a woman on the bus who was clearly ill (cancer/chemo treatments from what I could gather) and was on the way to the hospital. Luckily, she had a very caring friend with her but she was not in great shape. The bus driver was very rude (the woman was retching a bit but had a plastic bag and clearly was in control of herself), people were staring and making comments. And all I could think about was how messed up it is that someone has to take the bus to the hospital and she clearly didn't have health insurance, etc. And then I got home and got in my car to drive to my volunteer meeting - and took a few minutes to just sit and think about how freakin' lucky I am - to be healthy, to have health insurance, to have a car and the choice to take the bus.

I feel very melodramatic writing this now because I'm doing much better. I had a great Women Build meeting and feel much more positive about things. And really, I must admit that there are 'good' bus days where little things happen that remind me of how kind people can be - people giving up their seats for people, paying fares for people who don't have the correct change, or the woman on her way to work who struck up a conversation with the teen sitting next to her and gave him her lunch because he clearly was in rough shape.

HAT is *my* Specialty (#83/365) by Matt Majewski

Day 83 - Today's FGR was to celebrate HAT. That's something I typically do, in fact I've been known to do HAWT (Happy Aloha Wednesday AND Thursday). You'll have to trust me but there are shots and shirts to spare.

The center picture is from Kite Beach in Cabarete of the Dominican Republic.

Among others... In the bottom left you can see Super Drunk's outfit! :) Next to that you can see ugly couch surfing, and the top right is my zen focus shirt.

Working in a printshop, I have an abundance of white things to use as backdrops. I thought this would be a good test for the lightsphere as well. I think it did a very good job of softening the shadows, especially since I was so close to the wall. Hope everyone has a good week and HBM!

I had some ideas that rumbled around my brain, and then it came out like rainbow music making me happy and sad at the same time.

Now I can't help but smile, hope you do too...

Also, a happy birthday to Maite, hope it's absolutely gayfabulous.

A bunch of non-sensical questions...

1.) Why is sex so sexy?

Because if it wasn't then what would be?

2.) What kind of animal are you?

Probably a bear because I give the best hugs.

3.) What's grosser than gross?

Dog poo on your fingers.

4.) How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

One bite.

7.) What's your favorite sammich?

BLT.

Cheese doesn't talk. What kind of silly question was that

I stuff bits and bytes into puny mobile phones to make them light up.

Over FTW!!! (you know, studies conducted by hotel chains suggest that hanging over results in less tp consumption).

19.) What do you wash first in the shower?

Under my arms.

21.) What do chickens think we taste like?

Chicken. Duh.
