The Boston Red Sox are a professional baseball team based in Boston, Massachusetts.. The Red Sox are a member of the American League itself. Since 1912, the Red Sox have made their home at Fenway Park. The "Red Sox" name originates from the iconic uniform feature. They are sometimes nicknamed the BoSox, a combination of "Boston" and "Sox" (as opposed to the "ChiSox"), the Crimson Hose, and the Olde Towne Team. One of the American League's eight charter franchises, the club was founded in Buffalo, New York in 1901. After the move from Buffalo to Boston they were a dominant team, defeating the Pittsburgh Pirates in the first World Series in 1903. They won four more championships by 1918, and then went into one of the longest championship droughts in baseball history. Many attributed the phenomenon to the "Curse of the Bambino," said to have been caused by the sale of Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees in 1920. The drought was ended and the "curse" reversed in 2004, when the team won their sixth World Series Championship. The Red Sox led all MLB teams in average road attendance in 2007, while the small capacity of Fenway caused them to rank 11th in home attendance. Every home game since May 15, 2003 has been sold out—a span of over six years.

The lowland nyala or simply nyala (Tragelaphus angasii),[3] is a spiral-horned antelope native to southern Africa. It is a species of the family Bovidae and genus Nyala, also considered to be in the genus Tragelaphus. It was first described in 1849 by George French Angas. The body length is 135–195 cm (53–77 in), and it weighs 55–140 kg (121–309 lb). The coat is rusty or rufous brown in females and juveniles, but grows a dark brown or slate grey, often tinged with blue, in adult males. Females and young males have ten or more white stripes on their sides. Only males have horns, 60–83 cm (24–33 in) long and yellow-tipped. It exhibits the highest sexual dimorphism among the spiral-horned antelopes

Mkhaya Game Reserve is a protected area in Swaziland/Eswatini. It is located along the MR8 road.
It is situated in lowveld wilderness in the southeast of Swaziland/Eswatini and is made up of acacia-dominated thornveld in the south and broadleaf sandveld in the north. The reserve has many dry riverbeds, is dotted with waterholes and has a network of game-viewing roads.
Mkhaya Game Reserve is named after the knobthorn tree which is known as mkhaya in siSwati.
Mkhaya is staffed and patrolled entirely by local Swazi people. All travel within the reserve is guided and requires pre-booking. The reserve is self-financed solely through visitor revenues.
It was established in 1979 to save Nguni cattle, which were close to extinction, and has gone on to include other endangered species such as the black and white rhinos, hippopotamus pods, roan antelope, sable antelope, tsessebe, elephant and Cape buffalo herds.

The Stone Camp is situated in the heart of the reserve in a riverine forest alongside a dry river bed. The 12 semi-open thatched, stone cottages have half walls - no windows, no doors! In the family units all beds are in 1 open-plan room.

A inhala (Tragelaphus angasii) é uma espécie de antílope de tamanho médio da ordem Artiodactyla, família Bovidae. Os cornos em forma de lira apenas estão presentes nos machos e são semelhantes aos da sitatunga (Tragelaphus spekei), ou seja, longos (com cerca de 83 centímetros), espessos e com uma torção longitudinal. A pelagem é castanho-escura nos machos e castanho-avermelhada nas fêmeas, apresentando riscas brancas verticais no dorso, muito mais marcadas nas fêmeas, e pequenas pintas brancas nas coxas.
Os machos adultos são muito maiores do que as fêmeas e apresentam ainda uma risca branca entre os olhos. As inhalas machos são os únicos antílopes africanos que possuem uma longa franja de pelos no dorso, na garganta.

O Stone Camp está situado no coração da reserva, em uma floresta ribeirinha ao lado de um leito de rio seco. Os 12 chalés de pedra semi-abertos têm meias paredes - sem janelas, sem portas! Nas unidades familiares, todas as camas estão em um quarto em plano aberto.

A glass chess set has a lot of visual possibilities. Here I just wanted an ominous, dramatic shot, rather than an actual-game position. I'd thought of putting a bright light under the glass board (I used a flashlight; I tried off-camera flash, but I could never get the balance quite right for the effect I wanted); but the difficulty was that the pieces have felt under them, so the light wouldn't reflect through the pieces from below like I'd hoped. So I came up with this idea of having the enemy king fallen on his side, so that at least that one piece gets some interesting illumination.

This is a custom gaming computer that I built for a friend. The case is a Cougar Conquer, which looks awesome, but makes the build a bit more difficult. The pipes in the computer are part of the custom loop water cooling system; each one was bent by hand. The symbol on the right is a dokkeabi, a mischievous spirit in Korean legend. This build was challenging, but a lot of fun, and I'm very happy with how it turned out!
While the "Big Game" is tomorrow, let's look at another big game.
Introduced in 1977, Mattel developed this hand-held football game, with two modes of play where the 'bright' blip has to maneuver between the defending digital blips.
Not quite the Xbox or PS4 Madden football game, but pretty hi-tech for its time. (I wonder why I kept it all these years)
