Teddy plays this game everyday, he wants to come in but doesn’t. He peeks his head in the door and then backs out when you approach him. I have heard of some Bernese playing this game. It’s annoying when you need to go to work.

Me encantan los libros y las pelis de Harry Potter. Tanto es así, que durante años y desde que era pequeña mi hija mayor, es tan super fan que tiene varios juegos, camisetas, gorras, pijamas, pantalones, de Harry y también de Juego de tronos (otro de los juegos en los que pensé para el reto, en este caso el Monopoly de Juego de tronos, jajaja).
En honor a ella, porque ha crecido con sus libros y películas, y porque le regalaron no hace mucho una versión del "Ajedrez mágico" de Harry Potter, le he tomado prestadas sus fichas y tablero para hacer el reto y escenificar la escena de la peli, que os dejo en el link.

I love Harry Potter books and movies. So much so, that for years and since I was little my eldest daughter, she has been such a super fan that she has several games, t-shirts, caps, pajamas, pants, of Harry and also of Game of Thrones (another of the games in which I thought for the challenge, in this case the Monopoly from Game of Thrones, hahaha).
In honor of her, because she has grown up with her books and movies, and because she was given a version of Harry Potter's "Magic Chess" not long ago, I have borrowed her tokens and board to do the challenge and to stage the scene of the movie, that I leave you in the link.

Wizard's Chess - Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone
This was another impromptu fashion show with Em. I haven't seen her since last summer. I'd heard she was back in town so paid her a visit.
Here we see her trying on demos from Pallette? Please don't quote me on that. To all the gamers out there, here's to looking cool chewing on your controller cable.

Magnetic hematite stones on the Jishaku (Japanese word for magnet) game board. For the Looking Close on Friday challenge: "game pieces."
Jishaku is a portable strategy game like chess or checkers that can be played anywhere. Unlike chess, there is an element of surprise when the magnets jump out of position without warning. All magnets have north and south poles. Jishaku magnets do too. They just aren't marked and the irregular shape of the hematite stones make locating them difficult. So as you carefully place your magnet in a hole you can feel the tug of magnets all around the board. Skilled players learn to use magnetic force in their favor repelling the magnets closest to them without forcing them into other magnets. At least that's the goal but the results can be quite surprising. It's pretty fun but can be down right frustrating at times.
A welcome find on my owl hunting evening particularly as said owl insisted on hunting out of reach of the camera.
This group of five young pheasants posed for a few minutes on a nearby wall.
This was late evening so quite high on the ISO but also providing a lovely pastel effect to the background.
Lets hope these guys avoid the shoot.
