The fluffy blanket under the kitty looking like a heart was purely accidental, but I like it anyway. I played with all kinds of edits and frames and finally decided on this one, though there are others I like. And it appears the Toolwiz Photos editor may not delete EXIF info, so it may become my go-to editor, but I'm not sure. I still really like the effects offered with the one I use most often.
It drizzled all morning long, a few days back. All the flowers were left with these beautiful droplets on them. While walking to Caltech Library, I took a lot of pictures with my phone. Here's one sample.
Only square crop and slight color adjustments done in GIMP. Rest of it is just the natural beauty.
I love that the Kaleidoscope Lime app allows me to save in more than just mandala. When I do the striped tessellations, I imagine someone could crop just one strip and use it for a nice border design.
Lochside Trail rest area at Mt. Newton Cross Rd, Saanichton, BC. This is where the 'trail' – which is on roads for some 30% of its 32km length – becomes a roadside path for the remainder of its length northbound through Sidney BC.
