Aereosoul : Isla Blanca --- www.youtube.com/watch?v=SB0G8lOXakE

I'm finally behind the camera again, though I used the cellphone as I was trying to get pictures of myself petting the neighborhood cats who show up on our porch for food. I couldn't get one I liked, so I enlisted hubby who gladly volunteered to pet kitties, and the kitties gladly volunteered to receive the petting. 😸🐈

Here's another design from my bowl of tomatoes. I love how the white of the bowl made its own layer behind the multiple oranges in this one.

I think we'd had at least 4 inches of new snow by this point, but we've got a couple more now. I took a lot of pictures, but I love my neighbor's two pines in the snow above all the other views from my front porch.

In this life you must find a way to secure yourself a little paradise wherever you can find it.

I love to play with almost any picture I take with my phone in the Mirror Lab app. The challenge this week for the group "52 Weeks of 2022" was geometry, so round tomatoes fit the bill. This is just one of many creations from the original photo, and I think the variety of colors from my garden harvest looks cool in the penta spiral design. I added the decorative frame in the Flickr editor just to give the spiral a stopping point.

Tonight I had made my transition back to the Galaxy. It's beautiful.

Wild chickens wander all over the island of Kauai.

Or is it a giant sunflower that attracts downy woodpeckers? LOL!

For this week's group challenge, I knew I was going to do something with one of my neighbor's beautiful sunflowers. I was going to grow it out of a chair or in a tree or ??? Finally, I decided on the woodpeckers I had gotten pictures of through my kitchen window. I did this on my phone, so the quality of the birds isn't as great as that of the camera. I love the look of the sunflower taken with the M Zuiko 60mm macro lens, so even with distant birds at an imperfect window angle, I'm pretty happy with the result.

Bâtissez un pont en papier de soie et jetez-y le bien que font les hommes, il tiendra bon...

Oeuvres (édition 1952) - Xavier Forneret

Playing with a bunch of apps, including Mirror Lab and Kaleidoscope Lime, and had to click save at this point. And I'm uploading today because it's #KaleidoSaturday on Twitter. Yay!

Happy Quinta Flower! !!!!!!!!

Big Boy has gotten really smart lately with adding a hot bar to their salad bar. Saturday night is usually a surprise, but it often includes meatloaf--the kind topped with ketchup. Since that's my favorite, we made that our dinner plan, and I had a salad with their wonderful bleu cheese dressing for my dessert. (I'm avoiding sweets for the most part.)

Note: This is the statue for Frisch's Big Boy, but the one I grew up with in California (Bob's Big Boy) looks a little different and must be the original since the piggy banks sold at Frisch's look like the one from Bob's. I'll add one of a California Bob for comparison in the first comment.

The Note 7's edge is less pronounced than the S7 Edge's, which is great for most people as it helps reduce the accidental screen touch with their palm while using the phone one-handed :)
