Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated
I was testing out the camera on my new phone as well as a new place to eat, Gadgets Sports Bar in Camden, South Carolina. We got there early, well before the typical crowd. I got a Black and Blue Burger and hand cut fries, both of which were very good. Highly recommended.

ODC-Can't Do Without This
I love my gadgets. I have a lot of different ones which makes my adventures in cooking a whole lot easier.

For 118 pictures in 2018, #61, "gadget/contraption", this is used for pulverizing garlic (the clove gets crushed and forced through the small holes). I prefer just to chop it very finely with a knife, but I'm probably in the minority on this important issue.
Going through pictures after having a scare that I lost them all. Forgot about this one. Ripley & I couldn't figure out what this gadget is for. I'm guessing it's a decorative garden piece my MIL had in her yard. Regardless, Ripley really loved climbing all over it even though she looks unsure about it all.
I built this MOC for the actual contest on www.RogueBricks.de "Bricking: Impossible" where we have to build something with agents.
First I thought to build something from 007 as a LEGO version like "From Billund With Love", "Live And Let Brick" or "You Only Brick Twice" :D
But then I remembered Inspector Gadget, one of my favorite heroes as a kid. So I built him - or let me say - his head, including some of his Go-Go-Gadget-O-Arms.
I know he is not perfect - it is my second figure I built like that - but I hope you like it as I do.
(You also can watch the new series on Netflix)
For the 78th anniversary of its detonation, a photo of a scale model of the "Gadget" in the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History in Albuquerque. It was fired at the "Trinity Site" in the Jornada del Muerto desert about 35 miles (56 km) southeast of Socorro, New Mexico.
Brigadier General Thomas F. Farrell was bewildered by how “the whole country was lighted by a searing light with the intensity many times that of the midday sun. It was golden, purple, violet, gray and blue. It lighted every peak, crevasse and ridge of the nearby mountain range with a clarity and beauty that cannot be described but must be seen to be imagined. It was that beauty the great poets dream about but describe most poorly and inadequately.”
After being closed to the public for many years, the Trinity Site was declared a National Historic Landmark district in 1965 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966. It is now open to visitors on the first Saturdays of April and October.
Replica of the first nuclear device detonated in the Trinity Test as a part of the Manhattan Project. The Gadget's detonation produced the explosive power of about 20 kilotons of TNT (84 TJ). After witnessing the detonation J. Robert Oppenheimer was said to have lamented, "I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds," a verse from the Bhagavad Gita. History has shown the quote to be quite appropriate.

WOODSTOCK GUITARS, The Temple of the Guitar + Concert Hall
www.facebook.com/woodstockguitareslive/?locale=fr_FR
Guitars by the hundreds, more gleaming than each other, hung on all the walls of the store. There is the Fender corner on the ground floor, but also the Gibson or Gretsch district, upstairs. Here a beginner’s area, for aspiring rockers. Here is a corner more exclusive with the products of the custom shop (guitars made to measure or almost, or customized). If electric is the lion’s share, fans of classical guitar or folk guitars are not forgotten.
