This photo has been taken as part of the scientific effort of the salvage archaeologist team H.U.N.E. to document the Sudanese Arab tribe of the Manasir and their cultural landscape 'Dar al-Manasir' situated at the Fourth Cararact of the River Nile.
The homeland of the Manasir will be submerged by the reservoir lake of the Hamdab High Dam (Merowe Multi-Purpose Hydro Project) in the very near future and all inhabitants have to be relocated by the Sudanese government.

Goal: Provide a guide for the congregation to the various ministries we have to offer.
Audience: All ages that are not involved already. Also, new people who visit during easter service.
Direction: Started with www.flickr.com/photos/andyakins/4383191860/ Decided that the design was too bold and 'in your face'. Decided to go more simple so it appeals to everyone.
Project: Ministry Guide. Front Cover and Backside.
Other important info: This will be printed on 11x17 paper and folded into magazine form.
Is it too boring or is this the way to go?

I was never actually in the guides. They wouldn't let me join as I was so much trouble in Brownies. But the left patch is a Girl Guides 80s patch of a Kingfisher, the middle is my Pixies patch (I was a firster but I've used my firster and seconder patches on another shirt and coloured them) and the last is a Brownies achievement patch for being funny and entertaining, I believe.

This species is one of the commonest in Zimbabwe. The variation of the body colors is incredible. I found black and grey individuals. The picture was taken in the Antelope park (Zimbabwe)

This is big news where we live. It's a guided busway system where an adapted but otherwise ordinary bus runs along the tracks. It will join St Ives to Cambridge. It's still being built.

That's me and my friendly guide in the grounds of Wat Pho- the last shot in the temple complex, after a delightful two hour cultural and sensory extravaganza! I have photographed and spoken about a majority of the shrines in the large Wat Pho complex, barring the ones which were closed or under renovation. I have already spoken in some detail about the large chedis in the background the background (Phra Maha Chedi Si Ratchakan) earlier in this album and will hence save you the commentary. The tile roofed building in the background is Wat Pho's Medicine pavilion Wat Pho is considered the first public university of Thailand, teaching students in the fields of religion, science, and literature through murals and sculptures. A school for traditional medicine and massage was established at the temple in 1955, and now offers four courses in Thai medicine: Thai pharmacy, Thai medical practice, Thai midwifery, and Thai massage. The tiled building seen here is the Wat Pho Thai Traditional Medical and Massage School. This is the first school of Thai medicine approved by the Thai Ministry of Education, and is one of the earliest massage schools in Thailand. It remains the national headquarters and the center of education of traditional Thai medicine and massage to this day. Courses on Thai massage are held in Wat Pho, and these may last a few weeks to a year. (Bangkok, Thailand, Oct. 2018)
I couldn’t resist making a few candid shots in the Ben Youssef Madrasa. On the streets of Marrakesh it’s regarded rude to point your lens at the locals – but in one of the major tourist attractions of the city a camera doesn’t attract attention.
