I had a quick (by quick I mean 40 minutes) little photo shoot with this gorgeous Ferrari 599 GTO over the weekend. I'm really happy with the way this image came out, the fall colors worked exactly as I was hoping they would. My plan is to shoot with this car at least one more time before the end of the year, but in a completely different setting. Hopefully it'll work out!
More soon!

2 hours sleep doesn't leave me the energy to be creative.
I think this is the heritage paint scheme, I may be wrong.
Oh and here is a lame video of it.

Ferrari has given only two other models the GTO designation: the 1962 250 GTO and the 1984 288 GTO. Unlike the previous GTO's however, the 599 GTO was not designed for homologation in any racing series.

Normally I'm not a fan of old cars, they're inefficient and generally not very elegant.
The GTO is an exception. Especially a '69 or early '70s model.

London is so rubbish at the moment, and I hate my lens. It's not sharp enough and it never focuses properly, I'm going back to the 50mm.
I was walking back to the car and a car that looked like a 288 GTO caught my eye. I walked up a side street and was greeted by this rare beast. So crazy to see a car like this parked on the road. Epic surprise.
Great-looking GTO I saw just before I left car week. I apologize for the fuzziness; it's the best I could get with a 10-year-old camera.
"This limited edition special series of just 599 is the new pinnacle of Prancing Horse sportiness and has benefited to an enormous degree from technological transfers from the track. Many of the cutting-edge solutions sported by the 599 GTO are also the product of the Maranello engineers’ experience in the development of the 599XX, the prototype experimental car of which, as its legendary moniker suggests, the 599 GTO is the road-homologated version..."
