Another Lifer! We saw this bird on our first day on Assateague Island. This one was on his own but when we drove around the Wildlife Loop later in the day there was a whole flock of them. So many different birds! I suspect all this was fairly boring for Anita as she is most definitely a landscape photographer but I suspect she found some amusement when we sat and watched two snapping turtles catch a little "afternoon delight" not too far from the location of this bird! LOL It's been raining non-stop here since yesterday for which I am very thankful as we were quite dry. Have a blessed day everyone! :)

Although common, Glossy Ibis don't often present good flight shot opportunities. I got lucky this morning and this guy came in and landed right in front of me in nice morning light.
