花園衝羽根空木 Hanazono-tsukubane-utsuki, Glossy abelia
Glossy abelia says Hanazono-tsukubane-utsuki in Japanese.
和名は「花園衝羽根空木」。
I first saw one of these bird about a year ago and have hoped to get a good photo of one. This isn't what I want yet, I had to crop it, but at least maybe you can see why I want a good shot.
A seldom seen snake, the glossy crayfish watersnake. These nocturnal snakes specialize in eating freshly shed crayfish. They will eat other things as well such as fish and amphibians.
