In the cockpit of this is a Nord Noratlas, which was a French military transport aircraft intended to replace the older types in service at the end of World War II. Several hundred were produced in a run lasting over a decade, finding a wide variety of uses. This was dated 1973!

On the drop to Broad Crag col the sun made an appearance to cast my wife’s shadow on the mist blowing through the col. Not sure if it counts as a Brocken Spectre, but the multicoloured rings around it must be a glory en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brocken_spectre

Great Gable, hiding in the mist beyond, is for once overshadowed by something more impressive

Gerne erinnere ich mich an den wunderbaren Sonnenaufgang auf dem Lütispitz zurück. Ein wahrlich einzigartiger Moment, alleine diese Ruhe und Wärme geniessen zu können.

A shot from Waverton yesterday morning, just after we shot down on the harbour under the bridge. This park is only five minutes from the foreshore, and gives sweeping views of the city.

I used my 70-200 lens for this image. I dont use this lens nearly enough, and I have to say I'm impressed with the clarity from it, especially on those buildings on the shoreline.

A great morning to be out in Sydney.

Hope you like "Morning Glory"

Cheers, Mike

Old glory ;-)) Looking back on the sunny summer days.

Wish you all a nice start of the weekend!

Thanks for looking!! :-)

-The picture is the same but I added my boarder back on. I really tried to go borderless, but after all this time of having them, or a frame..I couldn’t.-

This one was on the side of back roads . The rain had washed the sand out for the background and the flower was just there..I love natures background textures when you can find them. Life is not just about sunsets and horizons there is much more to capture the eye

We all had a great time camping out and watching fireworks at Brian's annual 4th of July party

I had my husband pick up some morning glories up at the fireworks store for the kids. These are so much better than sparklers because the change colors and sparking effects. They make for intersting photos!

THERE'S NO GLORY IN STOLEN WORKS AND YOU KNEW IT !

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are people lurking around flickr stealing photos and posting them as if they're their own works on other sites, thinking they will not be caught up .

I did found one of my photos in an Internet property / travel sites before. There's no even linking my photo back to my flickr. It doesn't need great looking photos stolen, depending on what suits the thieves liking as those photos stolen where not looking stunning either. Just be aware of this friends .

What I'm angry at , they just don't acknowledge the owner or at least linked them where they got it from.

Although it happened few years ago, I know it's still continually happening . It might be with your photos this time.

Instagram and other sites has thieves , so as flickr and posting them where they think you can't track them down.

Another shot of the Lake Berryessa Glory Hole. My timing sucked, with the hole-side of the valley in shadow.

Other pic here, which gives a better sense of scale. Link. The drop is over 200 feet, over 60 meters straight down, the diameter is 72 feet or about 22 meters. Somebody has of course fallen in, and needless to say, perished.

Lake Berryessa is artificial, a flooded valley. Somewhere deep under there was once the town of Monticello. As well as forcibly moving the residents, they also moved a cemetery, which was relocated to the banks for the lake.

The "Glory" was attacked by armed pirates on May 17, 2017, around midday in position 03 59N 006 46E, some 40 miles southeast of Brass in the Bight of Bonny. The pirates kidnapped six crew members and fled. The remaining crew took the vessel to Bonny. At the time of attack, it was en route from Rotterdam to Harcourt. The nationalities of the kidnapped crew were yet unknown.

A surprise I found in my garden the other day...I haven't planted morning glories for a few years now but someone else did and I just found it growing along the rocks underneath our swing.
