I always thought of dandelions as boring flowers, but I liked how fuzzy this one turned out. I tried to get an action shot of my daughter blowing it after this, but she thought it was funnier to smash it....
Unwise choices? - looking for insects to photograph amongst the melting snow,, "no, that's just optomism" - laying in water soaked ground to get the that special view,,, "I can't see the problem" - choosing not to wear waterproofs,,,, "you've got me there" - wandering through the woods in wet clothes admiring the the light on the trees and waiting for a Robin to sit in just the right place for another 2 hours,,,,, "hmmmmmmm, sometimes bloody mindedness can cloud my judgement".
Couldn't resist this little fellow - that winter 'puffed up' look really is a good one.
