This was a photo I took with my iPhone one sunny day at Old World Wisconsin. That day I took many plant and insect pictures, but this one was by far my favorite. An old photo of mine, but I’m also new here, so I’m putting some old ones on here!
I finally got an excellent version of the glittery lurex top (and much better glittery hose!) for my 'Snug Fuzz' outfit! This was one of the wilder outfits for 1968, which is why I've always wanted it... 'A rush to hot plush in vinyl trim jacket and skirt. Metallic knit blouse and hose' was how the 1968 Mattel dealer's catalogue describes it, and I love its mix of 'hot' and 'cool'. It was initially on my chocolate Bon-Bon, but I think it also looks smashing on my blonde Marlo flip.

Waving in the very slight breeze is this grass flower in the golden peachy light. From Lake Tyrell sunset on the dry grasses, double exposure in post with an overlay of peach fuzz light.
Happy New Year and may you festivities cast a peachy light over your awakening. HMMM :)
Yesterday,
The rains came,
The winds blew,
The clouds fled --
For a day or two.
Bright blue sky we get just after a strong, dry frontal passage.
Sooo I seen this item which looked like some sort of bug so put it in jar to see it moved - nope it - I decided it was just a seed.
I always thought of dandelions as boring flowers, but I liked how fuzzy this one turned out. I tried to get an action shot of my daughter blowing it after this, but she thought it was funnier to smash it....
Unwise choices? - looking for insects to photograph amongst the melting snow,, "no, that's just optomism" - laying in water soaked ground to get the that special view,,, "I can't see the problem" - choosing not to wear waterproofs,,,, "you've got me there" - wandering through the woods in wet clothes admiring the the light on the trees and waiting for a Robin to sit in just the right place for another 2 hours,,,,, "hmmmmmmm, sometimes bloody mindedness can cloud my judgement".
Couldn't resist this little fellow - that winter 'puffed up' look really is a good one.
