This is a hanging begonia plant and the variety is called funky red. I only messed with it a little bit. I hope you enjoy it and I appreciate all the visits, faves and comments. I am always open to constructive criticism if somebody would tell me what I am doing wrong with a photo, by all means speak up. Thanks so much.
Nizami Street in Baku is a bustling pedestrian avenue known as a central shopping and entertainment hub, also called Targoviy Street. The street's architecture is varied, with many buildings erected in the late 19th century, showcasing styles like Neo-Renaissance, Neo-Gothic, and Baroque.

Two years ago I went to see the Mardi Gras Parade for the Krewe of Tucks. I got a shot of a girl doing a go-go dance in a cage on one of the floats. That shot is my second highest most viewed photo with almost 10K views and my highest position in Explore. It took over 400 views before anyone made a comment on it, that was my good friend Klaus Dolle, who is one heck of a guy! Last year I had the flu during Mardi Gras and missed all the parades. Let's see what happens this year. Happy Mardi Gras to all of you!

The original shot was of one of the fathers having a kick around at one of the boys' games. I played around with the original to get the effect I wanted with filters.
Large size shows the detail if you have time.

As a lot of the UK is either hit with snow or flooding - so far the south west has been relatively unaffected - but today's forecast is for light snow.
Quite where the snow will fall is difficult to predict so we might still miss the disruption it always causes in the UK.
