I've been having a little idea about a thing like this for a while. A 'little lottery' (very free) just because all of you are so kind and sweet all the time!
I shall post more about this on my site, as that's where it'll be.
As I remember we got this disposable camera in a box of cereal in 1997 and stuck it in the refrigerator to play with later. The expiration date on the box said 1999 and the promotion picture was for the movie “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” which was released in 1997. A while back I got a camera that uses Rapid (SL) cassettes and I was looking for an extra cassette and I had read online that sometimes disposable cameras have a cassette in them that is the same size as a Rapid cassette. I remembered we had an old disposable camera in the fridge, but rather than just breaking it open I decided to shoot and develop the film. To my surprise the pictures came out fine. The negs were dense but fixable in an image editor once scanned. The bigger surprise, however, was that there was a publicity picture for the movie on the roll of Julianne Moore holding a Nikon F5. What a nice bonus. Turned out the film in the camera was not in a Rapid sized cassette. It was a standard 35mm cassette of Kodak Gold 800 film.
