Funtime Carnival midway. Spring Fling Festival. Miamisburg, OH. May, 2009.

pic of me and my twin Cumdolly, hehe havn't seen them that much and miss them terribly, she got me soo well

The first Pedigree Sindy I have found in Ireland! I think she might be a Funtime - rigid arms, twist waist, and Hong Kong written on her upper back.

The three Sindys to the left are as sold. The Sindy far to the right are showing of her shoes Edwardian Dream Sindy 1991. originally she had blue high heels.

Once the towers are vertical they push skyward.

The evening city view of San Francisco, CA. This was viewed from right by the Coit Tower, in the back. Me and my family were out and around the city in celebration for my sis' official birthday this day. Gotta love my cousin Steven's Nikon D5100 camera for night photography! (Monday evening, October 28, 2013)

**Summary of our day: Arrived to San Francisco in the early afternoon, went to the Golden Gate Bridge Pavilion, crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, arrived to Sausalito, CA. There, we ate our early dinner at The Trident. Then, we walked around a bit around the shopping areas around Sausalito. Then we headed back to SF and ate and warmed up at Ghirardelli at the Ghirardelli Square. We then ended the night up at the Coit Tower to view the night lights around the city.

Do not look in the shadows, child.

She doesn't look any less threatening.

Bit of an honesty moment now. When you approach a model via the interweb, essentially if we cut the crap, I'm a guy with a camera approaching an attractive young lady with the intention of taking her photo. Yes, if she's got a profile online, she's obviously into that whole 'thing' but it doesn't make the semi-predatory concept any the less awkward. I think, as a guy with a camera, being aware of this fact, and letting it affect the way in which you deal with people is one of the defining points where you sit on the professional photographer ---> sleazy pervert spectrum. Certainly it seems many of the guys who get us a bad name are either aware of this fact but don't care about it, or just don't realise the whole 'appearance' of it.

People who have worked with me know, it's one of those things that I'm totally paranoid about. Almost to the point of being annoying. I can't help it really, just wanna take pictures, not be a dodgy bastard. So when you go a stage further and speak to a model who's fairly (but not totally) against showing off her body, withthe idea of photographing her in not much frolicking on a bed in a hotel room, it gets a bit delicate. I threw numerous ideas at Sarah, many ideas, and due to the constraints of shooting from my hotel room during my visit down South, many were 'narrow' in their outlook.

I think, we nailed it. Sarah told me what was cool and what wasn't, and when the time came to do this 'set' if you like, I think the fact we'd chatted about it and got everything in the open helped a lot. The sales pitch was that I was gonna get her to go nuts, and have a pillow fight. Sarah's all about the fun it seems, and it worked a treat. So once we'd done the whole laying down shots, the closeups, I lowered the camera and said "right, time to go nuts."

A short pause whilst she figured out exactly what she was 'meant' to be doing.

(Answer, whatever the hell she wanted.)

I raised the camera, and took this. Frame #1.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: What luck was it that I got not one, but TWO Funtime Barbie outfits together?!!! In October 2024, my sister and I purchased the "Storage Sweeties Lot" at the local flea market. It ended up being a great find, because there were quite a few original outfits to dolls we already had included. I conveniently had two Funtime Barbies sans factory fashions. And wouldn't you know that the ones in the "Storage Sweeties Lot" were the two color variations I didn't have. The other one was the blue outfit, which I only had the shorts to before. Anyways, this pink getup isn't in as quite nice condition as the blue ensemble. The clock is missing the hands. But otherwise it is stellar looking. There was only one headband and pair of socks in the lot, so I just borrowed them for both photos. These fashions are so sparkly and unforgettable. I'm not sure that anyone would wear such looks in real life, but they are so much fun.

Sidewalks and street corners are the stage at BeachStreetUSA. Musicians and novelty acts perform along Atlantic Avenue, the “Main Street” of the Virginia Beach Resort. From 7:30pm-11:00pm an 8-block corridor transforms into a magical world of its own that is part circus, outdoor music festival, and family fun zone.

Shows are presented on weekends beginning Memorial Day weekend and transitions into nightly entertainment June 19. The program ends before Labor Day weekend.

Performers from all over the US and Canada join us each year for this paid opportunity to entertain visitors at the Mid-Atlantic’s premier vacation resort!
