Beautiful Sunny day to walk to Allen Davis beach by Pele's Chair near Makapu'u, Oahu, Hawaii. The colors of the ocean were glorious in shades of blue, green and teal while the sky was a lovely blue. Aloha from Hawaii

Those of you that follow me on FB or IG may remember some pics I took last week of a wakesurf board that I was doing some modifications to to see if I could make it easier to ride. The idea was to increase the curl of the nose of the board to help prevent it from subbing under the water. There are some pics in the comments that show what I did to the board to get the result I was looking for.
Well on Sunday we had a chance to take it out and give it a try for the first time and I have to say, it worked amazingly well! None of us are great wakesurfers, we only do it when the water is too rough to wakeboard or we have done enough wakeboarding for the day, so anything to make it easier is a plus.
FYI: As you can see from the video my son is a much better wakesurfer than he is a videographer, sorry about the chopped off heads ;)
And why do I look stoned in the start frame!!! LOL
All aboard to Liberty Island!
Takes around 15 to 20 mins to get you to the islands. Like everything in NYC, there is lots of action and people watching to do.. :)
The Ellis Island/Liberty Island Ferries
If you are using the GM script that moves the comment box to the top, there are some more Liberty Island Ferry photos below this one..
Hope you enjoy the cruise.
