The little girl is just amazing. She just kept running/walking and laughing all the way.
What an amazing morning it was in Cairns. Would hate to come back and clean up though.
Enjoying the sunshine at Salthill Beach. Taken with the N8, probably the best cameraphone ever. imho

Drive by photo ops, NYC
Cathedral of St. John the Divine
The cathedral, designed in 1888 and begun in 1892, has, in its history, undergone radical stylistic changes and the interruption of the two World Wars. Originally designed as Byzantine-Romanesque, the plan was changed after 1909 to a Gothic design.
After a large fire on December 18, 2001, it was closed for repairs and reopened in November 2008. It remains unfinished, with construction and restoration a continuing process.
It's a massive and impressive site to see and visit in NYC.
If you are using the GM script that moves the comment box to the top, there are some more inside Liberty photos below this one..
Hope you enjoy the drive by views.

Flickr Friday-Fun In The Sun
The temperatures finally got up into the 30's so a few people got out and enjoyed the little bit of sun we got and the fresh but not so cold air.
Another view of the Verzasca River at Lavertezzo; people out enjoying the sun on the rocks one fine late Spring day. In summer when the water warms up a bit, and when it's a little deeper, people dive off the bridge from which this photo was taken.
You can drink straight from the river, no problem.

Walking this morning, in sunshine. First time in ages! As a result of the clear sky, it was cold and below freezing with lots of frost.

Cheers to my beloved sister!
Since our B-Days were only one yr & two day's apart,
we often spent them together.
Our last celebration was here on Ft Myers Bch
Below is a readers digest version of that day....
First Rum Runners, then para sailing from a happy face :)~
Afterwards she did a few silly poses as we recapped our adventure...
Later at my house all sun burnt & loopy...
She flew home the next day.
One month later... I was in CA to be with her as she left this world.
I miss you sisterrrrrrr....

This view is one I have shot before, but it is significant in that 24 hours earlier the whole area was covered in snow. All of Texas was affected, in fact; and, many people are still suffering from the after-effects of an unusually strong winter storm last week. With temperatures around 12ºC on Saturday, snow still on the ground, the disc golf course was bustling with people who needed to get out, myself included.
