PERSONAL FUN FACT written by my sister: We've had these shorts for ages! There's a very good chance they actually came on my Hawaiian Fun Ken, even though I remember getting him in the Beach Blast outfit. My guess is that Rob (Hawaiian Fun Ken) was a bin doll and was either wearing the Beach Blast outfit or I assumed it was his since it was so distinctly Ken. At any rate, we've had these shorts forever--we may even have had them before Rob, although I think it's likely they are his. I think I believed them to be boxer shorts...or perhaps I just wanted them to be boxer shorts. I used these as boxer shorts instead of swimwear. For some reason, I liked making my guy dolls strut around in their skivvies. I thought it was funny...childish sense of humor much. The top was a more recent acquisition--we got it on our Dream Glow Ken in 2012! While the shorts are a strange pattern, the top is super cute! The decal kind of makes me think of Pet Pals Skipper--only ocean themed! It fits Ken awkwardly...makes me think of a man-bra. It also makes me think of Baywatch Ken because it's a dolphin. Actually, I'm not really sure if it's a dolphin or some type of swordfish. Cute either way...I must say though, it's an interesting color. Not super realistic or versatile! But boy do I love it...
