ODC Fun
We had the tree surgeons at our house today, and they chipped a load of the wood, and we spread it out in the bit of the garden where the chickens go. There is no grass left there, and this will help prevent it becoming a quagmire. And the chickens thought it was amazing fun. This is Deryn (left) and Dilys (right), two of our bantams, having a lovely scrubbage around in the woodchip.
The fun house was decorated with many wonderful drawings. I wonder who the artist is? Warren, Michigan. Carnival. April 29th, 2010.
Next to a major shopping center near where I live, there's this little green belt. This young couple apparently thought it would be fun to just spontaneously run through the sprinklers, getting soaked. Standing safely dry in the distance on this hot summer day, I envied them. © Hank Fox 2008
I took this at 6m depth, by turning face up and shooting the jellifish. The water was calm enough to see the clouds above.
The TSS Duke of Lancaster was a railway steamer come passenger ship that operated in Europe between 1956 to 1979. But the former steamer has spent the last 30 years rusting away by the North Wales coast -
Throughout the early 80s it was used as a bar and market space called ‘The Fun Ship’ before closing down. Since then, The Duke of Lancaster’s hull has attracted graffiti artists from around the world.
Eight paintings have been added to date, including paintings by Hungarian Mr Zero, French artist GOIN and Fin DAC from Ireland.
Other artworks are the handiwork of street art collective called DuDug - a wordplay on the Welsh for black duke – who want to turn The Duke of Lancaster into an open-air gallery.
The Color Run came to Queens for the first time in 2014 and took place in the parking lot area of Citifield/Mets Stadium.
