The snow was deeper than expected, so we looked for excuses to take breaks during our hike.
Too deep for hiking, not deep enough consistently for snowshoes.
Again handheld hdr, standard 0 -2 +2. Also set reduce ghosting detection in photomatix to high and it seemed to work very well.
Any comments, critique very welcome good or bad.

Part of the fun of planting three bags of "Assorted Colors" hyacinths is seeing what you get - although we seem to be getting all white.
(The blue ones in the back aren't hyacinths. I can't remember what they are.).
Another of her at lunch today with the missing tooth. Yes, I'm going to post a bunch of these, lol! The gap-toothed look is my all time FAV!

I finally got to shoot fun. I've been wanting to see them live since summer, and it's even better that I was able to shoot them live. They put on a great show, give them a listen.

Better when viewed in large size. It was back in May when I took this at Fairmont Park, a horse racing park across the Mississippi River in Illinois.
London was blessed with a beautiful blue sky day on saturday so i was filled with inspiration to head into the city with the SLR and see what showed up ...
this is a shot of one of the fountains in Trafalgar Square and was actually pre-planned/visualised something along these lines. the setting sun provided the golden cast ... no saturation tweaks required :)
