Just having fun with Operetta's hair. It's still wet here and I haven't decided what to do with it yet....
My two sons having fun in the backyard.....
I continue to be amazed by "frozen" water captured in mid-flight by the Nikon D70....and by the smiles and expressions it manages to freeze on my kid's faces......
Better if viewed at the larger/original size to see the detail of the water....

Today, we have been bathed in glorious sunshine and decided to completely chill out at the pool. We had a great fun morning doing absolutely nothing lying around reading, talking, laughing until my wife decided she and the chauffeur - that's me - had to go shopping ..... AGAIN!!
Our vacation is coming to quickly to its end so tonight I'm going out to hunt a sunset for my 365!! Now, I'm hoping that works out for me or that will be the end of my fun day!!
Our Daily Challenge ~ FUN .....
A dad kite-boards on Lake Superior and has fun with the kids. The toboggan is tied to his waist and the kids got a free ride.
This week the challenge at Moxie Fab World is to use fabric www.moxiefabworld.com/2010/05/fun-with-fabric-challenge.html. A big thanks to Trinh for telling me about the challenge as I love any excuse to play with fabric!
I stamped the large flower on some orange/ pink hand dyed fabric, layered it with wadding and a stiff backing and machine stitched over the image. The flower centre is a scrap of suede with the Woodgrain Circle stamped on it twice in different directions. I used more fabric on the sentiment panel and the bow on that is made from threads pulled from the frayed edges. I applied spiced marmalade and worn lipstick distress inks to a white card base so it would go with the fabric flower (which looks more orange/pink in real life). Please excuse the bad photo. When I took photos in the shade the flower looked totally flat but in the sun the colours look odd!

Playing around with cute colors. I'm really into pastels right now maybe you can thank easter for that. So far I've made a couple of cute pieces in z-brush I'm really excited to show them off here in the upcoming future. Still deciding on a store name and theme. We'll see.

This Predacious Diving Beetle was seen actively moving about in shallow water at Goose Pond Natural Area, Iowa on a warmer winter day. Apparently the adults can fly at night to a pond that is deep enough and then stay active under the ice during the winter.

Perhaps because of the overcast skies, the legs were very orange in the image and the eyes were blue.

In fact, many barrels of fun!
This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=50mm lens and a Hasselblad/63 1xHz-0 drop in filter using Kodak Portra 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
Here is a Vertorama taken on Antelope Flats near Grand Teton National Park. I used the shift function of a Nikon 24mm T/S lens to take 3 vertical images without moving the camera. The individual images were then combined in PS CS3 using "Photomerge." The merging yields a high res image of about 31.5 megapixels.
These are dedicated to my friend Panorama Paul who has inspired me with so many wonderful images in this fantastic format.
