WATERCOLOR & INK

Using the same technique as the previous two paintings.

Kids, my son in the middle, having fun playing with an R/C boat in Thailand.

Please view LARGE.

Yesterday was my birthday (25!), and also my first day at the University photo-club, Dekate Mousa. We had some fun with my idea by riding bikes with flashes while shooting each other, kinda like jousting with horses in the middle ages.

After "jousting" for a while I was left half-blinded for a while after getting repeated bursts of full-power strobes directly in my eyes. This picture was part of a club competion in Dekate Mousa, with the theme "From above, in motion", and won the first prize (beers)! A great night. Thanks to all the guys in my group working together to make this photo.

Fun watching this extended Family of Common Song Sparrow's.

I'm just discovering what is possible with Lightroom now that I have discovered how to make my own presets.

Whenever anyone stops by The FPP Studio I always pull out a wacky camera. Today I shot Sophie with the classic Polaroid Passport Camera. Need a passport photo? I'm your man!

lil monk is finally persuaded by unknown girl 2.1, and decide that the water is probably safe fun.

he joins in the fray only to realise that he didn't bring along a spare pair of pants.

Mom shouts " i got that covered!"

lil monk heaves a sigh of relief, only to be hit by a fresh water spout a few moments later.

he giggles uncontrollably.

its amazing how little kids can trust and befriend their counterparts within 3 seconds, its as if they have a secret language.

These are all pretty much all play around pieces. Quite like how some of them turned out.

Nothing earth-shattering. Since I haven't had any "me" time in over a month, I thought I'd go to the archives, just to pretend that I'm having fun. This was exactly one year ago.

This little larva which I believe is a (thistle-feeding tortoise beetle, Cassida rubiginosahas) made a shield of excrement for protection. Interesting to watch them raise and lower it. I happened to catch it in the act of making an addition. If I am correct these were introduced to control thistle.
