I'm having a blast wearing my beautiful blue dress in the countryside. Who cares that such chic dresses are intended for classy parties; you can enjoy wearing them everywhere so also in this meadow with the tall grass. Big fun, big smile!
The other day I found these little flower cutters and I couldn't resist. I've never done anything like this before, so it was fun! These will become pendants and brooches.

I was in a fun mood and wore this lightweight smocked dress to the club. I paired it with white pantyhose and black patent Mary Janes, which I consider my ‘fun shoes’!💕

PERSONAL FUN FACT written by my sister: I wanted this doll the second I saw her in our Ultimate Barbie Book back in 2011. "Dollar Lady" produced the doll in the middle on her table during summer 2013. I knew she was indeed Island Fun and not a fourth Tropical. Shelly wasn't so sure. She was trying to prevent me from, inadvertently, adding another nude, duplicated Skipper that we'd have to somehow find clothes for. Just want to add, Bratz duplicates clothes hogs much. Also, ha ha, I was right, she is Island Fun Skipper and she's GORGEOUS! I should also note: My sister wasn't entirely off base though--I knowingly bought my third Tropical doll pretending to think she was Island Fun as an excuse to buy her. The moral of the story--don't lie to your sister when buying a duplicated doll, or she won't believe you in the future if it's actually a doll you don't have and REALLY want. The other moral to the story? Well, sometimes waiting really pays off. I wanted this cutie for several years before finally finding her!
The girl on the left is even more divine! I found her in a case with Shelly's fourth Campin' Out set Barbie during summer 2016. She was the first thing I noticed in the case and the thing that was most on my mind. I kept wondering if her swimsuit was hiding someplace in the case. It was! She only had her orange swimsuit but I already had the wrap! We were a match made in heaven! I can't believe how shiny and perfect her curly hair is. She's one of the nicest dolls from her era in our entire collection! Seeing her makes me remember how much I loved first seeing this doll in Marcie Mellilo's book.
The doll on the right is a newer acquisition. I discovered her in the "Dance Club Kayla Lot" in July 2017. Still thinking Island Fun Skipper was "desirable" and "hard to find," I was happy to add a third...even though considering I've got three now, she's obviously not that hard to find. Her hair was a MESS! Shelly put tons of work into it to make it look decent. It's still not nearly as soft as my first doll's or as springy as my second doll's.
I do not like puzzles that are too difficult.
More fun than frustration is what I look for in a puzzle.
I am pretty particular in my choices.
But...... we may all be different. Isn't that great!?

O Precious (H) é um filho quase único: eu tenho dois vidrinhos da Fun Lacquer (o outro é o TC holo Diamnond), mas espero que a ~famÃlia aumente, pois estou encantada com a marca.
Fiz alguns testes de base, e constatei que ele fica mais bonito sobre preto, mas como março está acabando = eu precisava usar o nacional do desafio 12 meses 24 esmaltes e não tenho nenhum Beauty Color preto, então escolhi o Berlim (edit.: comprado em 2011), que é um taupe médio, de acabamento metalizado.
Gostei muito do tom, mas para usar puro eu acho que matificado deve ficar mais do meu agrado. Apesar de comprado em 2011, a fórmula está inalterada, foi tranquilo de aplicar, cobriu e fechou na cor do vidrinho com duas camadas. Marca um pouco as cerdas, mas não chega a comprometer o resultado; secou rápido e brilha feito catarro na parede auhahuah. Tem foto dele sozinho nos coments, mas é na mão direita, pq só lembrei de fotografar qd a esquerda já estava na fase seguinte. =P
Como recebi ontem um dos carimbos transparentes que comprei recentemente pq cansei de esperar pelo do Aliexpress, que comprei há 4 meses e até hoje não chegou, não resisti testar e carimbei, com o Preto Noturno da Hits, uma faixa da plaquinha Pueen 48. (tem foto da carimbada nos coments, pq no fim das contas o Precious (H) escondeu a coitada). Adorei o carimbo ~transpa, mas falo sobre ele em outra oportunidade, pq o post já está giga. XD
O Precious (H) faria os olhos do Gollum saltarem das órbitas, é um espetáculo de esmalte, e o mais difÃcil de definir ever!
As partÃculas são bem pequenas para que eu ousasse afirmar que são flocos, mas não texturizam o acabamento como glitter comum. Elas tem duplo efeito: holo e duo, e ficam generosamente concentradas em base transparente. Achei ótimo de trabalhar, ele espalha bem e seca logo. Sobre preto basta uma camada, mas sobre o Berlim carimbado eu passei duas e lá se foi a carimbada.
Na sombra e na contraluz o efeito duochrome prevalece, variando entre vermelho, laranja, amarelo e verde, conforme o ângulo, e com iluminação direta (sol, luminária ou flash - fotos nos coments) é um festival de cores pulando dazunha. Creiam que ao vivo o efeito é bem mais bonito do que as fotos conseguiram captar. <3
Finalizei com TC pq fui dormir em seguida, e pela primeira vez notei o tal encolhimento de que tanto vejo todo mundo reclamar... as pontinhas de algumas unhas estavam parecendo frisadas, quando acordei. =(

PERSONAL FUN FACT: The sweater that comes with this set has to be my favorite piece. First of all, it is amazing quality--it is super duper soft. The pear buttons are so adorable, it should be illegal. They don't actually work though, instead there is a strip of velcro beneath them. I would have preferred it if these buttons were operable, but at least the sweater is easier to put on and take off dolls. The pear print of this dress is crazy cute. I love how many different colors the pears are, and how the headband matches flawlessly. When I first admired photos of this set on the American Girl website, I wasn't sure how this dress would look on its own. But after opening it up, and trying it on my dolls, it is the sort of ensemble that would be killer cute by itself (although the sweater makes it ten times more sweet). The shoes from this set were the only piece that disappointed me. They are all plastic, and not the same kind as "jelly" shoes. In that sense, they remind me more of Barbie/fashion doll shoes than American Girl ones. But they do look cute on display with this outfit, so I can't complain!
