They don't know that the Rubik's Cube was invented in the late 1970's by Erno Rubik, a professor from Budapest, Hungary, or that it became a worldwide craze in the 1980's. They just know that it's fun.
These are my Candy Carnival Blythe dolls, Daphne and Waverly. The teeny-tiny Rubik's Cubes, and the girls' outfits, were gifts in the goody bags at BlytheCon Brooklyn in September 2017. My husband came with me to that event, so I got two goody bags! This photo is for the theme "The '80's"

Long exposure taken at Cardiff's Winter Wonderland. One of the main attractions on show with the ferris wheel in full motion behind.
Sailing in the Baltic Sea somewhere south of Karlskrona. The sea here is completely different to the Finnish coastline: there are no islands, and we could easily sail for a few hours without seeing a sight of land, another vessel, or a bird. July 2008.

During our famous costume party in Venice, this was my friend Magnus tearing up the dance floor! He was there with our really fun workshop, and this was one of the final events. Magnus was really funny because he has this thick accent… and he was having back troubles the morning before this masquerade ball. He came limping up to me, hobbled over like an old man, holding a cup of coffee, and in a very serious voice, he mutters, “Trey, this is not a party body.”

Oh-O ! I just heard Boney
give a stern bark at Larry
and now he's sulking ;-0-
I guess Boney has had enough.
The doors open and Boney came
in and laid down in his bed beside
the computer. The Pipsqueak came
in and looked at Boney who let out
a low growl. The Pipsqueak quickly
went back outside and is sulking ;-)
OK, everything is back in order.
Boney got up and poked me with
his nose indicating he wants to be
let out through the gate in order to
be away from Larry. Pumpkin is right
there waiting for him and off they go.
This stuff never ends.
It makes me laugh a lot.
I feel like the "Kindergarten Cop."
