This panorama of Lake Thun feels like a moment of beauty captured in a single breath. In the foreground, a small village along the lakeshore slowly wakes up under the soft morning light of November. And in the distance stand the snow-covered Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau—the famous trio of the Swiss Alps that naturally hold your gaze. Calm waters, gentle sunlight, and towering mountains—all come together to make the scene feel like it’s telling its own quiet story.
having great time digging through the archives from last year. This macro series was exactly year ago, so the same ambient is probably there, even though I can't phisically be there.
So it's great to have photos that are remininding of how our world is beautiful.

I saw these two still sparing in the early dawn this morning (well before reasonable light). The rut seems to be over, but they continue. I am led to believe they rather enjoy fight club.

My first outing of the year early this morning in the floating blind AND first with the mirrorless. Was hoping for Bufflehead Ducks, but the pelicans stole the show. This image right at sunrise while lights are still on across the river, hence the bokeh. This bird, in take-off. Full frame photograph.
Was very ready for hot coffee after two hours wading in the cold water with air temp at 37 degrees when I set out. A two hour tour, a two hour tour.
