Jag gjorde ett samarbete med fotografen Lena källberg där hon fotade en rulle film genom en halfframe kamera för att sedan dubbelexponerade jag rullen med en fullframe kamera.
Diafilmen blev sedan crossframkallad och här är resultatet alla 37 frames som kommit oediterade direkt från scannern.
I did a cooperation with the photographer Lena källberg where she shoot a roll of film by using a half-frame camera, then i used a full-frame camera and double exposed the roll.
The positive film was then crossprocessed and here is the resulting 37 frames that was is unedited coming straight out the scanner!
Canon EOS 5D with EF 1.4/50
When it was introduced in 2005, it was the first "affordable" digital SLR with full-frame sensor. Affordable meant € 3300, the contemporary alternative was the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II, which cost at market launch in Nov. 2004 about € 8000. Though, its price sunk quickly, but it remained much higher compared to the 5D.
Compared to later DSLRs the 5D is quite basic: no live-view, so also no video mode. Face detecting or Wifi? What do you think? So the operation is a bit like an analog camera with a sensor instead of a film. You won't be overloaded with fancy stuff or need hours for customizing. Sometimes the 5D Mark I is called "5D classic", to distinguish it from its followers.
Some specs:
* CMOS-sensor, 12.8 MP
* uses CompactFlash card
* no built-in flash
* ISO range 100 to 1600, expandable to 50 to 3200
* shutter speeds 30 s to 1/8000 s and B
The 5D is still quite usable. The pictures have a "natural" look, different from some modern cameras which want to impress with high contrast or high resolution. You should avoid the high ISO range - I had the idea to use it for concert photography, but it's actually only feasible on open air concerts - during a bright day.
The 5D was replaced by the 5D II in 2008, a camera which revolutionized video filming. It was the first DSLR which could make full-HD videos with a full-frame sensor, so pictures with a very shallow depth-of-field were possible. Furthermore you could set things like shutter speed, ISO value or sound recording level manually.
The current 5D (in 2024) is model Mark IV, possibly the last one, since SLRs are more and more replaced by mirrorless cameras.
