Intention/Technical: My goal was to use the sun to get good front light.
Reference to the reading: Duchemin in lesson 27 ”Does this mean front light can’t be used, or is it somehow “bad light”? Not at all. It just means the photograph needs to be carried by something else—some stronger gesture or amazing moment, perhaps”.
Outcome: with that in mind I took time and found these trees intertwined with each other and turned into a good photo.
Edits: brighten the whites and lowered the darks of the image.

Close-up of a yellow bicycle showing its frame branding, front light, and wheel details, captured in sharp focus against an urban backdrop with shallow depth for a modern cycling vibe.
Auto mode, took it with the light facing her. I wanted to do this in the dark and have just one light on, but it ended up being that the one light was too bright.
Intention/Tech: The goal of using an aperture of f/9 was to capture the scene, using Max. DOF.
Reference: Duchemin in Lesson 27, about Front Light, "...the photograph needs to be carried by something else- some stronger gesture or amazing moment".
Outcome: The image is visually engaging because of the clouds that look like angel wings over the trees.
Edits: Cropped 1:1, added a levels adjustment layer, and finished in ACR.
