This view of AA64SAF was adapted for use on the front cover of Coach & Bus Week (28/2/17).

The low angle was originally chosen to lose a lamp post rising from the middle of the roof!

One of a pair delivered in 2014, they were the first VDL's (or DAF/Bova related vehicles) to feature in Safeguard's fleet.

A later pair joined the Farnham Coaches fleet in 2016.

AA64 has been improved by smart looking wheel trims, much better than the awful things they were delivered with in my opinion.

The fabric is a cotton print, which I bought in Rome, to coordinate with last summer’s Capsule Contest.

The weather was so bad that I didn’t have any incentive to make it up! I’m hoping for better luck this year…

Lovingly restored by it's owners Jurgen and Farida, La Tangerina is a tribute to their good taste and to the architecture and style of the European colonial period.

Rather an uneven slope, but no person ever fell through the window.

Council thought, shall we put a metal railing across the front of the shop a foot or so away from the shop window.

Please discuss your thoughts on how safe it will be for children.

The front garden is almost complete, 1 more rose to be planted and then wait for the garden to mature, I am reasonably happy with the result

I love the front porch. It's a great place to pass time away, wave at neighbors or just get some fresh air. . .

A view of the front of 482.

K36 482 - August 2013.

The front. Looks too technical in my opinion, but not too shabby. Note the wheels- I found out the blades fit when mucking around.

Assembled front freewheel system consisting of White Industries toothless freewheel body, aluminum adapter, and 44 and 48 tooth chainrings. This will go on the cranks of an electric assist bike and allow the motor to overdrive the chainrings without forcing the rider to pedal.

Going in the front door.

Award citation, medal & believed photo of Arno Ziegler who was awarded the 'Medal for the winter battle in the east' on January 14th 1943. The medal is colloquially known as the Russian Front Medal. The award citation is made out to an Unteroffizier & the lad wearing the dress uniform is not of that rank. Although, anything is possible & it could simply be that he has not yet had his waffenrock made up with the correct NCO tresse.

Sketched at Durand Michigan on CN tracks working on the diamonds and other prep work for new cross ties. This unit had forklift forks on it. The operator left the machine set long enough for me to sketch it. Didn't get a chance to thank him.

These do well in containers where I can control the water other wise the hemlock hogs it all...
