Aaron - my best friend. I am 17.5 years older than him, but he is my best friend. He is like a friend, a brother, and a son all rolled into one. Too bad he now lives 975 miles away - but still we get together a couple of times a year.
Bill is a friend who drops by every once in a while. Jimmy Dean loves him (Jimmy Dean loves everyone - he is 100% a "lap hound"). Bill is semi-holding Jimmy Dean back, knowing that when you lease expect it, Jimmy Dean will go for face lick - usually right on the lips.
Bumped into this rather fluffy feathery friend on a stroll through a beautiful walled garden near me
Whenever I'm down
I call on you my friend
A helping hand you lend
In my time of need
Listen..
Whenever I'm down
And all that's going on
Is really going on
Just one of those days (and ju-h..)
You say the right things
To keep me moving on
To keep me going strong
(going strong)
(going strong)
my friend got mauled by a dog this weekend. the animal was owned by the girlfriend of a friend of his. (it wasn't a pitbull for all you haters out there.) the attack tore up his lip pretty bad and ripped an earring out. he's lucky that his eye didn't get torn out as you can see the bite marks on his face.
dog owners of the world: you are responsible for your dog. if you have an animal that shows signs of human agression you need to take the steps necessary to train that dog so that these sorts of things do not happen. if you can't live up to that responsibility then you should surrender the dog. dogs can be trained. bad dogs are almost always a result of bad owners. that doesn't mean a bad person who mistreats the dog, but can just be someone with a dog that they cannot control when it exhibits signs of agression. it is irresponsible to protect an animal that may hurt someone or some other animal. in this case the dog had mauled someone else before and is on record as being agressive. if this dog had been near a child the result of an attack like this might have been much more awful. this is awful enough.
i didn't take this picture.

This is my friend Hanna, serving hot dogs at a street party. They shut down 4th Avenue, which is kind of our main drag in our neighbourhood, and had music and sidewalk sales. I was there, though, only because Hanna posted on Facebook that she had hot dogs!
Photo for October 13, 2016 : Near my office, I got acquainted with this guy. He seems so happy everytime he sees me :-)
I was very happy with him, coaxed him on with some grain, had a friend pat him on the butt, It took a few but when he got on, I ran around , gave him the lead and shot some pics! I was so proud of him!! It doesn't have to be scary for them... just patience~
Catalina was the first person to volunteer to model for me, and has suffered through my experiments, failures and successes since then. Thank you, Cat.
