This is Manna. She is my best friend.
I've known her since 1986 and, though I moved a few times, we always kept in touch.
Every day we talked over the phone. About ourselves, our lives, our kids, the movies to see, the books to read.
Together we watched soccer games.. while on the phone.
We didn't see each other often. She didn't like to travel by train and I was always busy with my children and work. But whenever I could I'd go and visit her.
And when I came into her house, we went on talking where we left of the day before.. just if it was normal to see each other.
So special.
And then, one day, she became ill.
After a few attempts she refused further treatment. It wasn't to cure her, but gain a few weeks or so.
On august 1, 2016 she closed her eyes for ever.
I miss her dearly

Here's "Friend Or Stranger." I am sooo in love with these balloon pants!!! I have wanted this outfit for such a long time, and it was actually the last one the seller listed. I didn't know what was going on, every couple of minutes a new fashion was popping up. I was literally shaking. It was total Jem-O-Rama. After getting the 7th fashion ("Permanent Wave") I thought to myself, "The only possible thing that could make this night better is if 'Friend Or Stranger' came up." And then there it was. And now here it is in my home. Sorry NRFB lovers, I'm definitely opening this one!! I still can't believe this happened to me...

The grand finale: Some of the guests' drawings were picked to dance along with Disney characters to "Friend Like Me". It was quite fun!
This is my newest Jenny Friend 'Shion' made by Licca Castle. Shion's one of my fave dolls in the Jenny line and probably also among my fave dolls by Takara-TOMY in general. The auction said she was part of the Castle Collection 9. I wonder which year that was in? Doesn't seem long ago. She has a cute bob cut hairstyle in a dark chocolate color, pink eyes and dark beige/light brown lips. Very autumn-y make-up which I love on dolls. The coolest thing would be if she had tan skin, too!
