I am almost always the one behind the viewfinder and it is very rare for me to be in front of the lens. Today between the thunder and raindrops, I took a Phriend (photograph friend) up on her offer to photograph my dogs and me. My place of choosing was, of course, the beach. Since I am not able to handle all four of the dogs I had to decide on who would be in the photo with me. No guilt there. After giving it thought I decided on taking Jack with me. Lacey would have dragged me into the water, which is fine if we had the time. Willow is so interested in the seafood buffet she would not have raised her head long enough to snap a good shot and since little Ida is a foster and I wanted a photo of one of my dogs, Jack was chosen. Angela took the photos and allowed me to edit them. I really like the black and white version.
I'm a little bit late as this picture has been taken in december for Christmas.. but I like how it came out even if my scanner has not the best quality.

This is an old friend who has since moved. Her feet are a bit too big for my taste, but I am not one to complain. We got really drunk and she let me snap a few pics, until my battery died! I was pissed because I wanted to get some of her soles, or of me having my way with them. We never got together in "that" way after that.
There is always room for new friends....
Courage is always a forever thing. Remembering, caring for and finding comfort is sometimes difficult, but always worthy of effort. These are some of the best elements of being human.

I think 'Friend Zone' should have some accompanying theme music. I imagine it would be some kind of weird 70's disco affair but perhaps that's just me. The lady in this piece was going to be used in a commission but (doh!) I didn't read the brief properly and soon realised that it wouldn't work. That doesn't mean she had to go to waste though. All it would take is a little love and attention and she would be good to go for something a little different. So i decided to change the sentiment from the commission piece and mix it up a little. The commission was to do with the moments before coupling whereas this piece shows the ramifications of what can happen after the deed is done. Unlucky pal, you've just been relegated to the Friend Zone...
