Fresh out of Erie
CP 8204 a few-month-old rebuild from Erie, leading BNSF U-SAPCPG1-22T down the Afton sub at Fort Scott Kansas.
This shop is one of many colorful little stores in Victoria-by-the-Sea, Prince Edward Island, Canada. O course, everything was closed for the season.
Turkey Tail fungus, some old, many very new, covered this river birch stump and fallen limbs along the Shady Maple Trail in Goose Island County Park.

She's just such a lovely doll. I *think* my girl is flawless, though occasionally the way the lens captures her right eye makes me question if it's a tiny bit wonky in some way. It might just be that stern little expression of hers wincing at me though. ;)

I like flowers. It is difficult to find good flowers in summer, but we can still find fresh flowers in stores. There are many different small, interesting objects in nature for macro photography. I took this picture with Sigma macro lens, it has image stabilization, very sharp and compact lens. I don’t use flash for macro photography because I don’t like highlight on the objects. I took a few shots and used photo stacking in photoshop. Rose are big flowers and are easy to photograph. Smaller flowers are difficult to photograph. Have a wonderful day!
A pair of one month old BNSF GE ES44ACs were working their way west to home rails for delivery on a CSX freight at State Line Junction in 2007.
The fresh appearance would soon fade as years of service would take their toll.
In August, I went peach picking on Long Island's North Fork. The peaches were bigger and juicier than any peaches I had seen or tasted before. In addition to bringing many home, I ate a bunch straight off of the trees (to test them!), and had peach juice all over my face by the end of the morning. Yum. A delicious experience!
First rhubarb of the year, fresh from the garden. Add a few apples, to bulk it up and you have a lovely crumble for Easter Saturday
Autumn(Fall) means finally some fresh apples....In New Zealand,the rest of the year they are from "coolstores",and can be more than 6 months old
Delicious cockles lightly cooked in their shells at Yu Xuan restaurant in Balik Pulau, Penang. Tasted heavenly dipped in the garlic and chilli sauce.

The fresh paint is barely dry on the brand new scheme for the Reading and Northern's fast freight units. 5019 seen sitting here on the turntable at the steam shop north of the yard is a rebuilt SD50-2 acquired from CSXT that was blt. Mar. 1984 as Seaboard System 8550.
She wears a scheme that is more closely reminiscent of that found on the new ex NS executive F units. Sister 5018 was painted in a red and white iteration that was not favored for whatever reason and will presumably be modified into this scheme if it is universally adopted. I did get a shot of that unit earlier in the year as seen in this image:
I honestly wasn't sure I was going to like this as much as the red version or the classic green and yellow, but I dare say in person this is one good looking machine!
