The fresh paint is barely dry on the brand new scheme for the Reading and Northern's fast freight units. 5019 seen sitting here on the turntable at the steam shop north of the yard is a rebuilt SD50-2 acquired from CSXT that was blt. Mar. 1984 as Seaboard System 8550.
She wears a scheme that is more closely reminiscent of that found on the new ex NS executive F units. Sister 5018 was painted in a red and white iteration that was not favored for whatever reason and will presumably be modified into this scheme if it is universally adopted. I did get a shot of that unit earlier in the year as seen in this image:
I honestly wasn't sure I was going to like this as much as the red version or the classic green and yellow, but I dare say in person this is one good looking machine!

Four fishermen are about to unload two large containers filled with their fresh fish catch from their vessel unto a makeshift raft which will carry them to a nearby wholesale fish market at the town proper of Subic, Zambales, Philippines.
Meanwhile, a former construction worker tries to catch some fish from a raised concrete platform with the use of a nylon string with a hook and bait attached on its end.
The start of fresh, spring growth. Always lovely to see the fresh succulent greens. Here a splash of red to give the contrast.

More street art from the SW 9th Street underpass on Cherry Street in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. This graffiti can be seen as you are driving along Cherry Street and appears to be new. There is still undisturbed fresh paint in the gravel along the wall.

While I was out at Dune Creek camp, we got a wet snow that melted off by afternoon. However, it was still lingering in the high Sangres two days later.

Heading southbound along the W&A at the OWA 129 is CSXT Q581-18 powered by a pair of brand new rebuilds. CSXT 7251 and CSXT 4556. Both in clean YN3, but the MAC has YN3C with the CSX.com logo. All in all, the crew will run a pretty gloomy afternoon trip south towards Atlanta.
Autumn(Fall) means finally some fresh apples....In New Zealand,the rest of the year they are from "coolstores",and can be more than 6 months old
It’s now been almost a year since these were released, and yet they still look relatively clean. Makes for some decent photos.

Welcome to my show, Baking Fresh with Blythe!
This Blythe doll is Simply Sparkly Spark, starring in her first television show, for the theme “Fresh” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The hat, table, canisters, and background are part of a play set from Amazon for their 18” dolls called Adora (it seems like every major store has their own 18” doll now, complete with accessories, which can be used for Blythe dolls.) I have been wanting a chef hat for my dolls, which was a major factor in deciding to purchase this set…also, the price was very cheap, just $13, and includes several more accessories.
I woke up early and was shooting photos of sunrise just at the backyard which is the beach. Then I had this two girls waving at me catching my attention, they asked me if I'm interested of their Papa's catch... to get the story, I bought the squid.
Silverton was previously a mining town and is on the outskirts of Telluride. This area of the four corners has the least amount of pollution anywhere in the world. Recently, due to factories in the cities of Arizona they have started detecting pollutants in this pristine air. It will be only for a brief amount of time that we will be able to breathe this fresh mountian air.

Moving fairly fast in early morning along the highway is a motorcycle cart carrying several fresh coconut fruits. On board, besides the driver-seller, is another guy who could be his helper and a young boy.

Continuing to work on my dad's old slides I'm finding some interesting pictures from around London in the 1960's.
This large cargo steamer tied up at Fresh Wharf which was alongside London Bridge.
Just office buildings and flats now but quite large ships came right into the city in the mid 1960's.
