Moorea is famous for their local pineapple which is smaller than the common pineapple in the US.

Looking out the window onto the calming scene below. A welcomed sight after a grey and cold winter in Canada. Hello, Tahiti, Raiatea, Taha'a, Moorea and Bora Bora.

French Polynesia: on the way to Rangiroa

Day 2 in Tahiti and it started Foggy, then stayed overcast and raining and just as on que the last pic shows a hint of sunset. Spent the day at the resort and tomorrow we embark on the Aranui 5 for 12 days heading to the Marquesas, Tuamotu & Society Islands #travel #travelphotography #frenchpolynesia #tahiti #travelhotographer #travelphotography

On Sunday. There's nothing to see. This is me panicking.

Mountaintop at Moorea in French Polynesia

One of the buildings of the University of French Polynesia lab on Moorea, with a mountain behind that we nicknamed craspedium because it has the same shape as the coralline alga Hydrolithon craspedium.

This one was taken from the 5 days (after the cruise, after our stay at Tikehau) we were at Moorea. We had an over the water bungalow. Coral and sea life wise is more on the "sad" side.

Pearl beach is suppose to have the "biggest" infinity pool of the whole French Polynesia, too bad that they obstruct the view (aka defeat the purpose) from it with the bungalows. The whole point of an infinity pool is to give you the sense of "infinity"

Anchored near the north pass into Fakarava. Flat water, excellent snorkeling, decent shelling. Another day in paradise

Mint

I got this card during our honeymoon.

luckily the only grey weather was just before we boarded our ship, after that it was wonderful... took a little ride in a bus, as we arrived early.....
