"Put it in," gross!
And I don't think an advertisement for ketchup and moutarde in a subway station is going to increase sales of ketchup and moutarde. People who ride the subway — including the Montréal francophones — already made up their minds years ago as to the brands and quantities of ketchup and moutarde they like to "put in" their mouths, and whether and how often they are going to purchase bottles of ketchup and moutarde for home use.

We made these stamps using a cool new material called Sugru! It is vulcanized rubber you can work with like modeling clay, and it sticks to almost everything, including the old salsa lids and cd cases we used as bases for the stamps.

The plaque for Bishop MacEachern's monument has the below passage in four languages: English, French, Scots Gaelic, and Mi'kMaq.
"Angus Bernard MacEachern (1759-1835), first Bishop of the Diocese of Charlottetown, founded St. Andrew's College, the first post-secondary institution in the colony, on 30 November 1831. In January 1855, the college was re-located and re-opened in Charlottetown as St. Dunstan's College (later University), which has carried on the rich tradition of Roman Catholic education in the province."

A language/separation Frankenstein monster at Chateau Marois has been secretly assembled by the Parti Quebecois ready to cause terror in Quebec. Recently at the Quebec leader's debate on French TV and just before that PQ's Pauline Marois brought up her favorite two topics language and Quebec sovereignty. Despite peddling "good government", the economy, health, and family issues the PQ real goals surfaced again.

My ONLINE SOURCE FOR MONTRÉAL BUILDING ERECTION YEARS, the Rôle d'évaluation foncière, does not list an erection year for this particular building, but it tells that all the surrounding buildings are from the mid-1940s. I feel in my heart that this one is from the 1940s also. Is the lamppost from the 1940s?

The French procureur (a sort of French attorney general) has released statistics about the November rioters. Typical profile : under 18 (63%), from Paris,(82%), French citizen(87%) with no criminal record (50%).
Half of all the minors involved were school drop-outs. The attorney general says that rioters were not acting on political or religious motives, but mostly for the fun of it, and were influenced by the "virtual influence of shock images shown on TV". (Libération 12 janvier)
