This old freight car, far from any rail track, is being used as to store fishing gear in Petty Harbour, NL.
BR Standard 9F 92212 on a demonstration freight on the Watercress Line - Mid Hants Railway. The consist is approaching Alresford during the MHR's "Freight Weekend" in February 2010. Later that year the 9F visited the GWR and returned facing London.

View the Railroads: Photographs, Manuscripts, and Imprints Collection
While it is not a very interesting building as far as architecture is concerned, the old Boston and Maine freight house is the only railroad building still standing in the town. A small rail yard is located behind it, and in the warm weather months, the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad uses this location as one of its terminals. Summer seems a long way off on this cold February afternoon.
