A picture of a train I posted before at another location. Here's FGLK U23B No. 2201 with a local move to the lucrative Seneca Foods frozen food warehouse switch, seen at the State Street crossing in Geneva.
In my head I saw this differently, maybe I had my shutter open for too long cause it was just that dark. For even in the deep freeze of an ice castle, light is uncommon.
I got this towards the end of my visit at Silverthorne (this is probably the third shot in a row from here that I've said that, what can I say? The second half of the night was more productive) I came across this igloo-like circular room with the frosty hallways continuing on either side. I had a common problem in most of these shots that I simply did not have enough light and I wasn't allowed to use a tripod. Which again, pardon the slight motion blur, I had to risk a longer exposure so I could get the light I needed. I sat against one of the walls and shot this handheld.
So obviously this problem needed to be addressed in editing, a clarity adjustment on the whole image and adjusted light and darkness in their appropriate places. The doorways on opposite sides shrouded the middle of the snow and the... whatever is shining light through the ice shining brighter than before. It's not perfect quality but I love the composition. I still got a lot more to pump out from this location.
You really need to defrost your freezer!

The cool air from the freezer rolled over my sweat drenched body and onto the floor briefly taking away the heat of summer.
It provided me with a short escape as my mind slipped back into trips up North where the wind stung my face and icicles formed on my beard from every steamy breath I exhaled.

I went to the North Yatsugatake Mountains over the weekend during a cold snap, but the altitude is over 2,200m and it was like a freezer. The photos were taken in silky monochrome color, which emphasizes the white.

Re-scan using the Nikon glass holder with 6x6 film mask rather than the standard film holder that originally came with the scanner. Definitely feel there is a benefit to using the glass film holder

Well it was pretty awesome this morning up fleetwith pike in the lake district. Everything from complete white outs to breaks in the snow showers like I've captured here.
Not a bad start to my birthday. Hopefully get a few more mornings like this in this week.

So I bought a bunch of balloons and made a creepy balloon face mask and did a photoshoot that pretty much failed. I wanted to do a shot with balloons for my birthday (which is now passed) but I'm gonna try again.
Update: It hurts to turn my head to the right and I'm pretty darn sure its from squeezing into the freezer. Just a guess, though.
Update Update: My computer combusted and is never to return...So I lost all of my high res photos and photoshop for the time being. Lucky for me I have a computer at work. But trust me, I'm going crazy.

13°C outside and I never have less than 18° C inside…
I think people sometimes forget how much they pollute the world and we should be able not to spoil ourselves so much, I can understand if it’s snowing outside…but…do you know your body can do more for you? Where is the animal part?
If you feel cold…take a walk around the block! :D

This photo goes back, the only thing that I can say which I remember about it is that it was RIDICULOUSLY COLD!
This was one of those places which I came upon on the way home from the intended place, it was a great place to shoot,but so cold, my tripod stuck to my hands when I picked it up, I thought my shutter was going to break in a million pieces that night..
Yes, that is me, exposed in the bottom right corner, I played around with the idea of clone stamping me out of it, I just decided to do nothing with the photo.. on a good full moon night, there is rarely anything you need to really do, its beautiful!
Yes it has come from the freezer. Being vegetarians, pie doesn't really figure in our lives. We do have a friend who visits however, who is not vegetarian and enjoys a particular brand of chicken pie, so I try to keep some in the freezer for his visits.

Late dinner easy fast food, freezer raid stuff.
Fillet of beef, gravy on Cajun spices, garlic, Japanese soy sauce, garden herbs.
Served with fries, cooked in the airfryer, no added oil and leaf spinach.
Plus two, cold (dip) sauces: Sweet Baby Ray's original, mixed with black pepper and chives plus a hot sweet chili dip.
Not bad at all. Low cost, and more space in the freezer for wild boar and other...meat we hunt around here...
