playing hide and seek.
They are the streams and brooks
where silvery fishes swim
over the mossy stones.
They are the hopes growing
innocent, free and joyful
among us: the adults
who have forgotten
their own childhood fairies
and bonds of kindness.
They are our only teachers
who could revive our dreams
and teach us the value of life!!!

The intersection at Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo, during the evening rush hour. I don't normally like crowds, but this is something to behold. Taken on our trip to Japan last Fall.
Apparently, people in Tokyo get out later than we do in California. I sat in the Starbucks overlooking the crossing at 7 am on a weekday and the intersection was totally empty. I was surprised because 7 am here is the peak of rush hour.

I was working on this for yesterday's Looking Close on Friday group, and then realized it wasn't a very close shot. So here it is today with thoughts of spring and renewal. Sending Easter and Passover greetings to those who are celebrating this week.

I had to take an examination this morning in a Catholic high school

My "regular" life is finally slowing down... so now I'll be taking more pics and will be able to be on Flickr again. :-) Woo hoo! :-) This year, I hope I learn to better balance everything. Well.. that's the plan. ;-) I have so much to tell y'all, another time. I want to catch up with you.
