ABOUT PROJECTOR PROJECT
While Vermillion Gallery was between exhibits, its bare white walls offered themselves irresistibly as surfaces for a phantasmagoria of projections. There was no particular theme.
A dozen or so projectionists in various formats--slide, super8, 16mm, overhead, invented optical machines, digital, and even the lowly filmstrip--turned the blank white walls into an immersive improvisational cinematic experiment.

ICA hosted artist Jacolby Satterwhite, writer Andrew Durbin, and music producer Nick Weiss (of Nightfeelings) for an expansive evening of self-discovery and performative poetics! Attendees enjoyed art, music, food and drinks, exhibition tours, and fun takeaways.
"And when the rain comes, it'll fall but that's okay. And when the sun comes out, it's gonna be a beautiful day."
I finally had the free time to practice the style of photography that I'm most passionate about; lomography. I am obsessed with all of the effects that occur with lomo cameras such as light leaks, and I took my little brother Zak on an adventure. We went to this man-made lake, and when we got there he told me, "Welcome to Duck Island. Welcome to our club."
My goal was to convey childhood innocence and curiosity, and I think that was conveyed perfectly in this image and that's why I chose it as one of my best.

Somehow in the remodeling of the house, chaos slipped in unnoticed, got a hold of the overall plan, and diverted it to envelop my enchanted art room, which was not scheduled to be touched until fall.
So, alas, chaos is afoot in my enchanted art room and everything is hither and yon, here and there, spinning and twirling, hiding, and scattered too the four winds.
I was extremely lucky to capture this photo of chaos in action! Chaos, it appears, does indeed move in a circular spinning motion. Ha!

This photo was taken just outside the Apple Store in Ginza. I was unaware that they close the streets. it was nice to just walk down the middle of a street in Tokyo that should be full of traffic. Ginza however is not sticker free.
